Profession N/
Name No Name
Type PvE, PvP, GvG
Category Solo-Farming, Henchmen missioning, PvP/GvG
Attributes
Blood- 12+1+3 (base+hat+superior rune)
Soul Reaping- 12+1 (base+minor rune)

Skill Set
1.Life Transfer {Elite, Blood}
2.Life Siphon
3.Vampiric Gaze
4.Shadow Strike
5.Vampiric Touch
6.Demonic Flesh
7.Well of Blood
8.Blood Renewal/Ressurection Signet (soloing/henching,PvP,GvG)

The purpose of this build is to quest/mission with henchmen or farm by yourself--anywhere, since there are only 2 hexes which are not the main source of dmg. I personaly liked using this build in the desert versus Scarabs and Hydras in the desert, minotaurs were too easy with this build they dropped in about 15 seconds (due to casting time). I will explain how to use this build against almost anything.
First, pick out a target and cast Life Transfer {Elite} followed by Life Siphon and Shadow Strike (if there is more than one enemy in the area cast Life Siphon for extra health regeneration). If your target doesnt die from the first 3 attacks (some enemies drop dead), cast Vampiric Gaze. If your target is attacking you (melee) then cast Demonic Flesh followed by Vampiric Touch.
Whenever someone dies cast Well of Blood, since you get 13 energy from Sould Reaping you almost never run out of energy, step in Well of Blood for some extra regeneration. Repeat the process by cycling through targets, when low on health use Blood Renewal (when equipped), if team mate dies, you should first make a Well of Blood and then ressurect the person/henchman with your signet.

This build works the best in the desert and against the Grawl just outside of Port Sledge, this worked very well against the Titans in Defend Droknars Forge quest. I personaly had no issues with this build yet.

Credit goes to myself, and the team that helped me capture Life Transfer {ELITE} in Ring of Fire mission (cant remember all your names since it was a long time ago).

EDIT: To all future posts, please have a link to the discussion thread in your post.

7.Suffering
8.weaken armor/ Resurection signet ( PvE, GvG, PvP )

The purpose of this build is to make there health drop like a rock and/or to decrease there effectancy in melee.
First, You cast enfeebling blood and suffering on a group of creatures, followed by life transfer. Let the henchmen tank for you and start casting hexes and Dot's on the bosses ( If there are any ) and the most thretining opponent. Make sure if you cast barbs on a monster, that you target that monster untill it's dead. If you don't it's a waste of energy. Use Vampiric gaze as offen as it's possible, not only can it do lots of damage it gives you health.

3. parasitic bond/plague touch
4. enfeeble
5. faitheartedblahblahkuchkiboochki
6. desecrate enchantements
7. shatter enchantement
8. res sig

summary:
you are here to take out the warriors and rangers, and there are lots of those in CA/TA...
you pick a first warrior, and cast empathy, spiteful spirit and parasitic (if u took it) on the warrior. for several seconds, forget about that warrior, since he is hurting himself/not doing anything. on the second warrior, use parasitic (if u took it), enfeeble and faith (that warrior isnt hurting himself, but he is barely hurting others).
when you get the chance, find yourself a W/Mo paladin and smile while using desecrate, followed by shatter. if he isn't dead, he will soon be...
some warriors choose to fight through spiteful, killing their mates too.
parasitic bond is both a cover hex and a self heal mechanism.

concerns:
energy management...
soul reaping isnt enough, so you should take time between casts, and make sure you have that 15 energy when spiteful gets ready...
CA battles are fast anyways, and you will be making a big impact at the beggining of the match.

summary:
Modified this build a bit from the "degeneration" build that was posted in the necro forums a bit back. Start off with Soul Barbs, then I hit them with faintheardeness to decrease atk speed, parasitic bond for the hp when it ends, life siphon, then tack on the rest. With my amount of blood magic I get 17 energy from OoB which allows me to use the full set of 6 spells on a target everytime Soul Barbs refreshes. Also is good on casters but with faintheardness I mostly focus on tanks since casters die too quickly as it is.

Profession: N/E
Name: Cold Fusion Battery
Type: PvE
Category: Support Necro
Attributes:
blood - 12 + 1 + 1
soul reaping - 8 + 1
water - 10

Skills Set:
blood renewal
well of blood
vampiric gaze
blood is power {elite}
blurred vision
ice spikes
maelstrom
res signet

Summary:
since a lot of casters don't bring their own energy management, "battery" necros are usually high in demand for high level areas like the fissure of woe. this build, a pure party support build, is designed to be that battery and more. it provides enemy disruption, and it helps restore hp and energy for allies.

battles should start off with the water magic spells, since your teammates will still have their full energy pool and aren't in need of juice yet. cast maelstrom on any caster groups and immediately follow up with ice spikes to snare them for a bit. blurred vision should be cast on any melee/ranger enemies, with the priority being the ones who have slipped past the tanks and are attacking the softer targets.

after a while, you need to start using bip on the casters. it's good to do this before they even start calling for it, so that it ensures they will always have a healthy amount of energy. cast blood renewal first, then start giving juice to the casters. monks usually have priority, then any other caster. use vampiric gaze to help replenish your health and as a mini nuke. with blood renewal and vamp gaze, you should be self sufficient in maintaining your own health. it is important to let the monks know not to heal you unless you are under fire since the drop in hp is self-inflicted and you can heal yourself. cast well of blood if there is a body to help with party healing.

Notes & Concerns:
keep in mind that this is a pure support build. it is important to keep yourself away from any threat, and simply play a secondary role. if you are with a good group, they will appreciate the disruption provided by maelstrom, evasion provided by blurred vision, the hp regen from wells of blood, and the constant energy regen.

I can see alot of these builds are going to be very similar, so here's my PvP and FoW build.

"The Bleeder"

Profession: N/Me
Type: PvP or FoW
Category: Extreme high damage dealer
Attributes:
Blood - 12 + 1 + 3
Soul reaping - 8 + 1
Domination Magic - 10

Skills Set:
Dark Pact
Soul Leech
Life Siphon
Shadow Strike
Vampiric Gaze
Plague Touch
Rez Sig
Backfire

Summary:
What can i say, it works. Great against casters and even warrior cuz they can't block the spells.

To fight a warrior:
Start with Life Siphon, Dark pact, Shadow Strike, Darkpact, Vamp Gaze. Use Plague Touch once they get close.

To fight casters:
Use Soul Leech and Backfire. If they're dumb enough they'll be dead in 3 seconds.

Notes & Concerns:
Mesmers can still interrupt you, rangers can too. Take the Mesmers out first and hide behind objects so the rangers arrows dont hit you.
Fighting a warrior is as easy as Plague Touch.

Category: Animator of the Undead?
Attributes:
Death - 12 + 1 + 3
Soul reaping - 8 + 1
Curses - 10 + 1

Skills Set:
Spiteful Spirit
Verata's Sacrifice
Animate Bone Fiend
Blood of the Master
Desecrate Enchantments
Shadow of Fear or Mark of Pain
Rebirth
Soul Feast

Summary:
I'm really dissapointed with the 'Minion Master' build found when making PvP characters. True, it might be for PvP and mine is for PvE, but for new comers to see the words 'Minion Master' then go to a town and see MM LFG, what do you think they are expecting?
My MM build has worked extremely well for me so i think it's worthy of note. Having Spiteful Spirit makes you extremely useful in small farming group situations too.

Notes & Concerns:
Why do i only use Fiends? They are the only useful Minion imo. They are ranged which means they get more attacks in, and i also believe they fire much faster than the melee minions. The 25 energy cost is of no concern because you have Soul Reaping.
Get yourself a Bortak's Bone Cesta, but dont pay more than 100k for one. I use a collector Truncheon with 20% fast recharge for Death skills.

Make sure your party kills the enemy Necromancers first, or their wells will ruin your efforts to raise an army.

Good luck and enjoy

Skills Set Mantra of Resolve (Inspiration)
Enfeeble (Curses)
Spirit of Failure (Inspiration)
Price of Failure (Curses)
Energy Tap (Inspiration)
Spiteful Spirit {Elite} (Curses)
Parastic Bond (Curses)
Res Signet (No Attribute)

Summary:
I am writing this summary as though playing PvP arenas, although what has been said can easily be apllied to PvE and on some level larger PvP games. The skills are ideally used in the order shown and against melee characters.

Mantra of Resolve (Inspiration) This skill is essential for any necro in my opinion due to the long cast times of most necro spells. 11 points in Inspiration takes this skill down to 3 energy lost when an interuption is blocked.

Enfeeble (Curses) This skill should be used to keep foes weakened, warriors primarily and rangers secondly. When coming up against warriors and rangers, the closest should be enfeebled first, then the next, until you have a chain of enfeebled melee foes, as mentioned warriors are your main target. This should always be kept in mind. It should be refreshed as often as is needed.

Spirit of Failure (Inspiration) This skill is two fold. It acts to helps regenerate energy and also increases the chance of an enemy foe missing. It should be used in conjunction with price of failure, to increase the chance that a foe will miss, thus increasing the chance of gaining energy.

Price of Failure (Curses) As above this skill is used to increase a foes chance of missing, thus helping to increase energy levels whist doing damage.

Energy Tap (Inspiration) This spell is sell explanatory. When low on energy this is very useful. It can also be used to harass monks and it upsets warriors since they have very small energy pools.

Spiteful Spirit {Elite} (Curses) This is the real damage dealer. When fighting warriors or rangers, this should be used after piling on the aforementioned hexes. It works especially well when placed on multiple warriors chasing a monk. They tend to kill each other or at least disengage. If fighting non melee characters this spell still has its uses, since it activates when skills are used also.

Parastic Bond (Curses) This is used a cover hex for SS, which also acts to increase health occasionally. In any case this should be used on as many player as possible, maximising health boosts.

Notes & Concerns:

My main concern with this build is that there is very little self heal bar parasitic bond. However I am a firm believer that no one build should be able to do everything and that teamwork is necessary in order for it to be effective. For this reason a monk is always useful to team with. Also ele knockdowns in the form of gale etc are problematic, as well as hammer blows. Mesmers can also be annoying with backfire etc. Another annoyance is W/N with plague touch who can remove the effects of enfeeble. These players need constant attention and thus reduce your number of targets. I also tend to use Vilnars Staff with this build.

Credit Me!

Summary:
Droks or better armor fitted with 5 sup runes, and the -50 hp focus item. Do not get scammed you can still get this item from the Cities of ascalon quest.

Also if u can manage to get a +5 Denravi sword with a +enchantment pommel it will greatly increase your odds of surviving because you will be able to keep BR up at all times. If you cant get a +5 sword just grab some sword/axe/1 handed with +enchaments.

Basically you are running the same type of setup as an invisimonk except with different skills for your damage and for your healing. The main difference in the two is:set#1 is a higher dmg dealer, while set #2 is more resiliant at staying healed.

Skill Set #1:
Start of by casting BA ans Essence Bond. Now before aggroing cast AotL DA and PS. As soon as you have aggroed the group cast your BR then spam ToA/DP while being sure to keep up BR and PS. Also make sure and refresh AotL and DA before they run out.

Necro/Mesmer

Soul Breaker
Type: PvP (maybe PvE)
Category: damage

Attributes:
Curses - 12 + 1 + 3
Illusion - 12
Soul Reaping - (any leftover)
Death + 1

Skills:
signet of agony (blood) (cheap way to inflict bleeding on urself)
soul barbs (curse)
fragility (illusion)
plauge sending (curse)
Virulence {Eleit} (curse)
Faintheartedness (curse)
Parasidic bond (curse)
Conjure Fantasm (illusion)
-substitute signet of agony and plauge sending for Phantom pain (illusion) and another hex of your choice (or rez sig)

Summary: This build does a collosal amount of dmg to a single target, 500dmg +, you use signet of agony to cuase bleeding to urself, then use soul barbs on the enemy, then fragility, then plauge sending (or signet of agony if u dont want to bleed fo ra few seconds, but you wont get the +dmg for fragility) virulence, faintheartedness (another hex to stack with soul barbs and does large dmg over time), parasidic bond, (cheap hex to stack), conjure fantasm (dmg over time and another hex to stack). Basicaly everything stacks together to do collosal dmg.

Suggestions/notes: might work better with a mesmer build, but crunch the numbers and u'll see how much dmg you do. its an odd build, but thats y i like it.

The purpose of this build is to do heavy blood damage through degen and direct blood spells while keeping yourself alive through almost any sort of damage without help through regen and life steal. This build works in all PvP and PvE situations with a few fatal eceptions. In general MOBs are not your friend.

This build works best against things that don't have anit-hexes, especially in a one-on-one situation. Come on warrior, I dare you...

Credit goes to me...I made it, used it, and present it here without anyone's help and a clear conscience.

This is a fun build. If you're fighting undead or lots of non corpses it's not very good because they don't have any flesh. Making the whole build useless. In that situation I drop soul reaping some and raise curses and do a spiteful spirit variant. I like to have a balance of minions because the horrors can tank a lot better than the fiends..and the fiends do a lot more damage. Enjoy if you try it.

I stumbled upon this phsychotic build while trying to find a better version of BlindNympho's(or whoeve originaly made it) "Dark Bomber(Invisi necro)".Since i had a hard time casting lich's aura without being inturrupted by axes, i started thinkin up ways to make a different build. i must've spend over 15k in testing in the UW but i descovered something.

Dark aura does ruffly 50 aoe, and BiP takes 5 mana, sacs 33%hp and has no cooldown and 1/4 a second casting time. If i could get a monk to cast mending/watchful and healing breeze on me i could spam BiP to him, bossting his regen by around +5, and doing around 200dmg A SECOND. obviously this is limited to how much energy i have, but casting essence bond and balthazars spirit on myself i woul dhave an abundence of energy. This build leaves alot of things open though, like what other skils i should bring (currently rez sig, Blood renewal, protective spirit and barbed signet), and what skills the supporting monk should bring (spell breaker is a must, perhaps another PS too, SV, and some smite skills would be handy). I havnt worked out all the kinks yet-i hate it when ppl say that because it usualy means their build sux, but im confident once i get an experianced guildie to help me i can work out the bugs. so far trying to convince ppl to go to UW with me as the tank in a 2man smite run isnt working out.

BTW i call this build "The Reverse 2man Smite"

Default Soul Eater

edit: Link to thread

Profession: [Necromancer/Monk]

Name: [Soul Eater]

Type: [General PvP and PvE (Developed in the Competition Arenas)]

Category: [self-sufficient hunter-killer (counter magic + spike)]

Attributes

Blood Magic 12+3+1
Death Magic 9+1
Soul Reaping 9+1

Skills Set

Soul Leech {elite}
Vampiric Gaze
Life Siphon
Shadow Strike
Strip Enchantment
Mark of Subversion
Consume Corpse
Resurrection signet (PvP) or monk rez of your choice (PvE)

Summary:

This is a self-sufficient spiker with anti-enchantment and anti-spell abilities that kills through a combination of direct damage and counter hexes, refuelling life and energy through life steals, soul reaping and Consume Corpse (which is also a teleport).

Principal targets are spellcasters that are vulnerable to the counter hexes Soul Leech and Mark of Subversion. Either of these hexes can be protected with Life Siphon to prevent stripping. Spike damage is dealt with Shadow Strike followed by Vampiric Gaze.

A typical opening against a caster will be Soul Leech, Life Siphon, Shadow Strike, Vampiric Gaze. Against a tank, you might do something like Strip Enchantment, Life Siphon, Shadow Strike, Vampiric Gaze. It varies somewhat with the situation.

Spell-spammers can fall quickly to the Soul Leech + Blood spike combination, and Strip Enchantment can be used to strip away a key enchantment such as Mark of Protection or Divine Intervention. Mark of Subversion is a key anti-monk hex that will supress many spells, including rezzes part way through casting.

Although it is nice to be able to focus on a single target, some hexes can be dropped on secondary targets to feed you life (Soul Leech a spell spammer, Life Siphon a tank) or silence their support (Mark of Subversion a monk).

Note that lifestealing damage will bypass most forms of protection magic (Protective Spirit / Shielding Hands etc) as well as heal you, the necromancer.

Warriors and rangers can be dropped through degen and blood spike, but only if they have little or no interrupts. The necromancer's magic will totally bypass their armour however, so several bloodspikers (3-4) would have little trouble enchant stripping and spiking most targets.

Degens from enemy poison or bleeds are best counters by setting up Life Siphons spread over any available targets. If you're worried about these being stripped, siphon from enemy pets and minions. 2 siphons is enough to deal with poison or bleeding, but you can keep going to counter very heavy degens.

Consume Corpse at level 10 heals 75 life and +5 net energy, and teleports you to the corpse. Teleportation is a mixed blessing. You can just as easily teleport out of a dangerous situation as into one, but it's a very cool ability to have! The spell takes only 1 second to cast, so it's quite hard to stop when used to escape or to deny enemy necromancers corpses. Sometimes you can teleport into very advantageous positions, so always keep an eye out for your next meal!

Notes & Concerns: The biggest concern by far is interrupts, especially ranger spike. Time to go for a jog or sneaky teleport when that happens. Energy denial will also shut you down, but Backfire can be somewhat countered with Soul Leech on the offending mesmer - his spells will heal you (Soul Leech), and your drain spells can offset the damage somewhat (Shadow Strike + Vampiric Gaze) to keep them worth casting. Don't forget that Strip Enchantment is also a 126 point heal if you can find something - anything - to strip in a pinch!

The build was developed in the competition arenas to test it in as many random scenarios as possible, and to be as adaptable as possible. I hope you enjoy finding all the different ways you can take someone apart with these skills

Profession: N/Mo
Name: Spiteful Parasite
Type: PvE
Category: 55 farmer
Attributes:

Curses: 12+3+1
Protection Prayers:9
Healing Prayers: 9
Blood Magic: 2+3
Soulreaping: leftovers+3

Skills Set:

Spiteful Spirit {elite} (Curses)
Protective Spirit (Protection Prayers)
Insidious Parasite (Curses)
Desecrate Enchantments (Curses)
Healing Breeze (Healing Prayers)
Mending (Healing Prayers)
Essence Bond (Unlinked)
Balthazar's Spirit (Smiting Prayers)

Summary:

This build is a near copy of the build Rufio Lostboy posted here and works in principally the same way. Originally I had tried the AotL Dark Bomber build posted by BlindNympho, but this build is more energy efficient and a lot safer due to no self-damaging effects and harder to interrupt, faster casting spells (SS excluded). Unlike Dark Aura, Spiteful Spirit doesn't cause scatter, not even when burning surplus energy with Desecrate Enchantments. This keeps the mobs hitting you, triggering SS and feeding you energy and making the whole process go faster.

The equipment required is a suit of armour covered in superior runes (using duplicate soulreaping runes if you don't want the expensive death rune), the -50 focus item from the Cities of Ascalon quest (which you will meet the 5 Blood Magic requirement for, unlike a monk ), and a wand. You can take the +5 energy, +10% attack speed collector wand from outside Nolani Acadamy if you don't mind the lack of damage and want maximum energy. You will need 3 Charr Carvings for that (easy!). With all that lot equipped, you should have 55 hit points and a fair amount of energy.

Farming scenario next. Personally I've farmed griffons, rockshots, minotaurs, sand giants, dune burrowers and enchanted armors so far, so I'll take you through the opening section of Elona Reach as it's a good example:

First up, cast your 3 basic enchantments: Balthazar's Spirit, Essence Bond and Mending. In combat, you MUST have Protective Spirit up as well to cap the damage you can take to 5 points, or you will usually die in 1-2 hits! When first learning the invisi builds, it's common to forget to refresh this enchantment and die suddenly, or refresh too often and run out of energy. Don't worry - practice makes perfect.

Note that when fighting a single opponent (a dune burrower perhaps), energy regen with 3 sustained enchantments is dangerously low (1 pip!). In these cases, dismiss the Mending enchantment and cast Insidious Parasite on your target - they will hit you for 5 damage and heal you for 21 on each attack, while dealing 37 + 21 damage to themselves. If you suddenly start fighting more than 1 target (ie, you get adds), recast Mending.

When fighting a group of enemies, open with Protective Spirit and follow up with Insidious Parasite and Spiteful Spirit (in that order). Ideally, put the curses on different mobs as you want SS to keep working after the mob with IP has died (it will die faster as you are stealing its health). Look at your energy - always make sure you have enough to refresh PS. If you have 4+ enemies on you, cast Healing Breeze as well and keep it maintained along with PS. When IP and SS refresh, pick the healthiest target hitting you and drop those curses on them. If you have a lot of enemies on you, you will have enough energy for Desecrate Enchantments. Walk backwards if you need to a little to clump the enemies together and blast them with DE. Herding the enemies like this also makes SS more efficient - with two SS up and a DE thrown in, the screen can fill with pretty yellow 37s and 64s As the mobs drop, you can eventually back off refreshing HB. If for some reason there's 1 mob left with a lot of life, you can drop Mending to keep your energy up as long as you have cast IP on the mob first.

A brief guide to lone dune burrowers too: Drop Mending. Just outside of its aggro circle, cast PS, then wand the burrower twice to disrupt its Healing Spring. Immediately after the second wand bolt flies off, cast Spiteful Spirit and Insidious Parasite. Keep wanding and refresh PS when it blinks. When the burrower is on ~15% life, you can DE it just for kicks. If it gets a Healing Spring off, you will need to refresh your curses - otherwise it takes ~20s to kill, and you can do it from max wand range.

Notes & Concerns: The nicest thing about this build is that you don't have to get the mobs in melee range - you can kill enemies up to max wand or spell range just as easily, and SS will make them self destruct with every action they take, including setting traps, activating stances or shouts (thanks to the new update).

I've killed packs of 3-4 rockshots at max range too with this build, it just requires taunting the Distracting Shots out of them with a fast Insidious Parasite or Healing Breeze before attempting the slower cast Spiteful Spirit. A great opener against rockshots when they crawl out of the ground is to immediately cast PS and SS - you should manage the SS while they're busy laying a trap, and IP and HB are often fast enough not to get stopped. This works the same against Enchanted Bows - tempt Concussion Shot out with something fast first, and then use SS while it's down.

A handy tip with knockdown (sand giants, sand elementals...) is to wait for a knockdown and then queue a spell up while you're on the floor. As soon as you get up, you usually get the cast off, although you will do well to pre-empt a chain knockdown sequence with a fresh PS+HB and wait it out. Also keep track of when knockdowns are recycling - make hay while the sun shines and cast those spells!

Credit:

Rufio Lostboy, BlindNympho for 99% of the inspiration. I made just one change from Rufio's posted build, which was to replace orison with insidious parasite (which rocks). I'll credit myself for the write-up, but that's about all. Enjoy.

Edit: tweaked attributes to 9 healing, 9 protection. The extra pip from Breeze is worth it

Profession: N/Me
Name: Nate's Echo SS
Type: PVE
Category: Damage/Support/Interrupt

Attributes:
Blood: 10 + 1 (Base + Rune)
Curse: 12 + 3 + 1 (Base + Sup Rune + Hat)
Soul Reap: 8 + 1 (Base + Rune)

Skills Set:
1. Awaken The Blood
2. Weaken Armor
3. Barbs
4. Spinal Shivers
5. Descreate Enchantments
6. Rend Enchantments
7. Spiteful Spirit {Elite(curses)}
8. Archane Echo

The purpose of this build is to get Spiteful Spirit on every member of the enemy group as fast as you can. With the 11 points in Blood magic, your Awaken The Blood will last 38 seconds. Long enough for you to echo SS, and have it recharge twice each sometimes. This allows you to have up to 6 SS's going at once in ideal conditions. Weaken Armor, Barbs, Spinal Shivers, Desc & Rend, are all used as anti-boss spells to support your SS; and more importantly your Minion Master teammate who should have anywhere from a few to an entire screen of Fiends blasting away. IMO Barbs is the new Mark of Pain since the AoE nerf, especially helpful vs. Monk bosses like Yak, as even he can't heal through it. The equipment I use is Vilnars Glove & Claw, and before I had those I just used the collectors items for curses.

Notes & Concerns:
Some of the weaknesses with this is energy management. You usually can get enough from soul reaping, but when there aren't any minions helping yet(either by killing or dying themselves) you probably won't get off more than 3 Spiteful Spirits.

Default N/E Minion Master for 5 man SF/Grenths Farming

Profession: N/E
Name: Nate's Minion Master
Type: PvE
Category: Damage/Support

Attributes:
Blood 10 + 1 (Base + Rune)
Death 12 + 3 + 1 (Base + Sup Rune + Hat)
Soul R. 8 + 1 (Base + Rune)

Skills Set:
1. Vampiric Gaze/Blood Ritual
2. Glyph of Lesser Energy
3. Offering of Blood{Elite(blood)}
4. Taste of Death
5. Blood of the Master
6. Verata's Sacrifice
7. Animate Bone Horror
8. Animate Bone Fiend

The purpose of this build is to raise a horde of Fiends, and little else. Anticipate when something is going to die, and use the Glyph before Fiend. Only use Horror when Fiend is recharging, or you don't have enough energy and a Gnasher/Binder is about to steal a body. Of course, certain points(Oro quest part A/Dredge Section near Alkar part in Oro farm) in farming if you're not raising dead you're not doing your job, so you might be alternating. Bortaks/Collectors gear is standard issue. Fast casting is key to snatch a body before a Binder can drop a well. If Verata's is charged, cast it, if it isn't recharging you're not doing enough to keep your minions alive. During battle, your Fiends are usually bunched up...I like to hide inside them and spam Blood of the Master as needed. If you drop below 15 Energy, use OoB.

Concerns:
Completely dependent on a heal monk to keep you rolling, and that you know the path for Oro/FA farming as to not sit idle.

Credit: Me I guess, I've been using Glyph since pre-searing, 140hrs & 600,000 XP later I'm still using it for my MM build.

Category: Life Sucker
Attributes:
Blood 12+1+3(base + hat + Superior)
Curse 9+3(base+superior)
Soul Reaping 9+1(Base+Minor)
Skills Set Shadow Strike - Vampiric Gaze - Barbed Signet - Vampiric Touch - Rend Enchantments(Strip Enchantment works to) - Suffering - Feast of Corruption{ELITE}(Curse)
Summary: The whole purpose is to drain life from foe's and heal yourself at the same time, Use Suffering on a big mob of foe's surrounding the tank in your party, then use Feast of Corruption to steal lots of life from all the foe's who's been struck by suffering, Then you can focus on 1 enemy at a time and first use shadow strike and followed by the other spells to do some more dmg to them(Unless they are already dead from Shadow Strike and Feast of Corruption).
Notes & Concerns: This build might cause you some trouble if you don't focus on 1 single enemy in your party, since your spells drain alot of energy it's very easy to run out of it if your fight takes to long.

Death 12+1+3
Curse 10 + 3
Soul Reaping 8 + 3
domination 2

Skills
Summon Bone Horror
Summon Bone Fiend
Blood of the master
Verrettas Sacrifice
Spinal Shivers(bring a cold dmg weapon, i.e bortaks :P)
Spiteful Spirit {elite}
Power Spike
Rez Signet(i like to bring one just in case)

Summary: The first 4 skills should be self expanatory, summon ur minons when a corpse drop alterante between the two or use horrors if ur eng is low. Try not to overuse Verretas sac as it becomes less effective each time u cast...not sure if its just because minons are "older" or the spell, meh. Use spinal shivers on monks and if farming in sorrows i like to cast it on the warriors as well to interupt signet. Use Spiteful spirit whenever you are not summoning a minon and you have the energy to spare. Then Power Spike is nice to iterupt ne other summoners trying to steal your corpse.

Notes and Concerns: This build use three sup runes, make sure your not the one getting the aggro and hope you have a decent monk. Also if you can get a hold of the +1 death +30 hp cesta i would recommend it over bortaks cesta.
